HUASCARAN HUT

This hut is built in a place that has an excellent view; this place is designed for those who want to reach the top of the highest mountain of the Cordillera, precisely the Huascaran.

HOW TO REACH THE HUT FROM THE CITY ‘OF HUARAZ:

Go towards the town of Mancos-Musho with an estimated travel time of two hours. Continue on a gravel road and then on a trail. Alternatively, you can take another road that passes through the caserios de Huaypan. The estimated time in both cases is 5 hours. Transportation: Transport services that go from Huaraz to Shilla, using the Huaypan way. Transport services that go from Huaraz to Musho, using the Musho way.

    Huachucocha Chalets

    • up to 6 persons, 350 Soles (price per night in a medium sized Chalet)

    Extras (snacks, drinks and food) are not included in the boards. The price does not include the entrance fee to the Huascaran National Park (Huachucocha, Huaripampa and Contrahierba are not in the park). Caffeteria and restaurant are available to non guests.
